Job Description

Your duties will include:

• Produce the European monthly management report. The report consists of individual and consolidated P&L, balance sheets and cash-flow reports, and analysis reports including variances. It requires the inclusion of intelligent commentary for management.
• Prepare & present the European annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
• Prepare the annual group return for the group accounts.
• Prepare management reporting of subsidiary businesses units that look after, eg, shipping support and processing technologies.
• Manage late adjustments to reports and engineer a great relationship with the US head office.
• Improve the processes of the team so that they become fit-for-purpose.
Projects
• Deliver the replacement of our SAP accounts system in Spring 2012.
• Improve the efficiency of data extraction from the system and translation into our reports.
• Complete gap analysis of our financial controls & investigate and correct.
Management and Supervision
• Manage the team of four part- and fully-qualified accountants.
• Be a member of the Finance Management team and support colleagues in Treasury, Credit, AR/ AP, Management Accounts and Tax.
• Support our financial accounting colleagues in Portugal.
• Prepare statutory accounts for Luxembourg & UK registered companies.
• Liaise with external auditors.
• Be part of transformation of Finance team to an outstanding performer.

Person Specification

To be eligible for this vacancy, please ensure you meet the following criteria:

• Enthusiasm and a determination to succeed
• Qualified ACA or equivalent with relevant experience
• Ability to motivate.
• Good Understanding of IAS/IFRS.
• High degree of numeracy and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
Advantageous
• Experience of SAP and Microsoft Office, including Excel to macro level.
• Experience of Trading Accounting.
• Understanding of US GAAP

Sales Financing Manager, Spain & Portugal - Spain, Madrid -1134

Location: Spain
Salary: OTE €85,000-€90,000 plus excellent benefits
Our client is seeking a Sales Financing Manager responsible for selling of financial solutions for IT for Large Enterprise and SME customers - both in the public and commercial sectors.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Build close relationship with local manufacturer sales centres to increase finance penetration rates.
Manage the local Approved Funder relationships and "day-to-day" business.
Work with the virtual sales teams on specific deal processes.
Prepare for and attend high level customer meetings - also in conjunction with the transaction owner.
Provide the funding partner with correct documentation and level of information for credit checking and risk monitoring;
For "on demand" computing, negotiate the appropriate legal project documentation working within the guidelines of our funding partners and to coordinate activities with legal and tax department, where required.
Working with Asset Management, facilitate and lead buyout of the customer's existing IT-infrastructure and assist and control the remarketing of the equipment.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:

Leasing, Asset -, Structured, Project Finance experience required.
Min. 5 year's sales experience from the IT captive or vendor leasing sectors.
Significant experience of completing transactions on large deals and of negotiation at Board/Senior management level.
Ability to work remotely and develop and execute long-term business strategies and customer relationships
"Hunter"/ Business Development mentality
Fluent business English, good knowledge of local Leasing law, US GAAP / IFRS, contract and insolvency law, leasing duties and taxation, ability to interpret and analyse corporate financial information.
Self-disciplined and motivated.
Ability to work both on a stand-alone basis and as part of a team.
Excellent oral and written communication skills - Spanish and English.
Able to influence change in business processes and sales environment.
