A good opportunity has arisen for a qualified Financial Analyst to join a household name brand which has captured increasing market shares during the recent economical crises. They have taken their strong position into a recovering economy and hence are looking to expand their Finance function in a number of business critical areas.
The role would ideally suit an ACA, CIMA, or ACCA (or equivalent) qualified accountant with strong central finance and consolidated management accounting experience, latter will spread across a large number of European entities. The key to success in this role, however, is your commercial acumen, i.e. "to look at and analyse P&L sheets and challenge the respective countries to understand their business challenges". The ideal candidate will be fluent in another European language (French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese or German would be good but not essential)!!
Supporting and reporting into the Group Finance Director you will be able to demonstrate solid skills in following areas:
- Management Accounting and analysis of consolidated accounts (European entities)
- Quarterly budgeting, forecasting and re-forecasting
- Analysis and business support to the regions
- Business partnering and operational support
- Financial modelling and variance analysis
