Our client is a "Club" of senior real estate investors and developers active across the world and one of the leading providers of executive level conferences and meetings for the global real estate sector, running events for between 250 and 600 attendees world-wide. The events are highly content driven and cater only for the needs of the most senior executives in the sector. Currently running 12 events per year, our client is looking to expand into new territories over the coming months.
They are looking to recruit two experienced Conference Producers with native Portuguese and Spanish (one role for each language) and very good English skills to further develop certain international events to be held in Europe and Latin/South American markets. Your primary responsibilities will be to discuss and research conference content with senior players in the real estate sector, develop a credible programme and secure the participation of up to 200 "Discussion chairs" per event. You will have total project management responsibility for 2 events per annum, each of which will take around 6 months to develop.
You will most probably have a background in B2B sales, business research or conference production and will have very highly developed interpersonal skills. You will be capable of developing an intellectual interest in the topic of global real estate, even if you have no current knowledge in the area. You will be able to take the initiative without being prompted and will be able to make things happen. Above all, you must be capable of conversing with and gaining the respect of CEOs and other high level individuals in order to galvanize interest and participation in your events.
